HAAL has been manufacturing aluminium hard alloy billets and slabs for Aerospace & Defence (A&D) end applications at its state-of-the-art plant at Shendra, Aurangabad, since November 2008. The company is the only cast-house in India, which has established an unblemished record of supplying billets and slabs as per the stringent quality parameters of the A&D sectors.

HAAL manufactures billets and slabs in the 2xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx series of speciality alloys, and also in customised alloys as per the customer's specifications. Before it commissioned its plant, many of these alloys had never been commercially cast in India before. It casts billets in sizes ranging from 178 mm (7") to 1060 mm (41.7") in diameter and slabs in thickness of 420mm (16.5") and 520 mm (20.4").
