Hindalco-Almex Aerospace Limited's (HAAL) cast-house technology is based on Almex's proprietary CASTRIGHT II TM  automation system and the LARS TM in-line aluminium purification system.

The CASTRIGHT II TM  is a premium accuracy billet and ingot casting machine, which has a PLC-programmed (programmable logic controller) operation, while the LARS TM  or Liquid Aluminium Refining System is based on the proven principles of high-energy diffusion and chemically-driven mass transfer.

The company's machining and inspection departments and fully equipped quality control department ensure that it meets the stringent quality requirements of the Aerospace & Defence sectors. All testing at HAAL is done in its in-house physical and metallurgical testing laboratories, which are equipped with ultrasonic testing facilities, an AlScan™ hydrogen analyser, Z-Met™ analyser for gas and inclusion measurement, a gas porosity detection system and metallographic testing facilities with an image analyser, among other equipment.
